Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Grade Plate Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing welding on high-quality materials, specifically for X-ray grade and other precision applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in welding processes and a strong understanding of quality control, ensuring the final product meets strict industry standards for safety, durability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding on X-ray grade and other high-grade materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals.
- Use welding techniques such as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), MIG (Metal Inert Gas), and Stick welding to produce strong, precise welds.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Inspect welds visually and using non-destructive testing methods (e.g., X-ray, ultrasonic testing) to ensure that welds meet required quality standards.
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and machines, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve issues related to welds, material selection, or structural integrity.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow best practices for welding and fabrication.
- Document welding activities, materials used, and progress in accordance with project requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Academic Qualification Middle
- Experience working in industries such as aerospace, nuclear, or medical equipment manufacturing.
- Knowledge of X-ray grade materials and standards.
- Familiarity with welding codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
Additional Skills:
- Proven experience as a welder, preferably with experience in X-ray grade plate welding or similar high-precision welding.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and Stick welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols.
- Experience with non-destructive testing methods, such as X-ray or ultrasonic testing, is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards for welding.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Certification from a recognized welding program (e.g., AWS – American Welding Society) is preferred.
